this place is certainly unique, but who knew a lack of heating could ruin my stay? it’s like taking a cold shower right before bed, romantic right? Plus, when I mentioned a room upgrade due to my troubles, oh, they just laughed! i almost gave a good review but just couldn’t!

sato cave is a gem, perfectly located in the authentic cave area. the breakfast each morning was delightful, offering a nice selection to start the day. being a solo traveler, I appreciated the cozy space and tranquility it provided, making it a great spot for rest and relaxation.

Unfortunately, my stay was impacted by several issues. The room lacked proper ventilation, leading to a damp smell that made it uncomfortable, especially in the bathroom. It was surprising given the price I was paying, and I felt it was really not worth it for the experience I received.

Exceptional rock-carved room

We had a lovely stay, and the staff were incredibly accommodating, especially with our special needs son's autism support dog. The location is just perfect for exploring Goreme, and we enjoyed the fantastic views of the hot air balloons while hiking in the area.

My wife says that the steep climb to the hotel was a bit much for the kids.

The terrace offered stunning views, especially perfect for watching the hot air balloons at sunrise! the bathroom lacked space for toiletries, which could be tricky for shared accommodations. some outside noise was noticeable late at night, which interrupted the tranquility. Despite these issues, the warm hospitality of the staff made our visit memorable. They even accommodated our special dietary requests without hesitation.
